VLA-221 adopts direct radiation phase reversal design, and the optimized compression phase reversal design effectively reduces the wind noise during operation. The cabinet resonance is predicted and analyzed by computer, and these resonances are reduced by strengthening the structure, making the bass clean and powerful without cabinet sound coloration. The optimized cabinet design and the speaker unit installed at a V-shaped angle not only effectively offset the cabinet vibration, but also make the speaker volume more compact. The long-stroke high-power unit is used, combined with advanced DSP control technology, to effectively control the overload distortion, edge beat and other problems caused by high power. VLA- can be matched with VLA-210 System and other line source vertical array full-frequency series through the predicted parameter call of the DSP processor, and the debugging is simple and fast.
The cabinet is made of high-strength “Baltic birch plywood” and uses tongue-and-groove joint technology, making it sturdy and durable. There are handles on both sides of the speaker for transportation, and screw holes for pulley installation are reserved on the back of the speaker for easy transportation and movement. The surface treatment uses a poly-urea spray paint process with better protection and higher wear resistance, which is sturdy, durable and environmentally friendly. The unit structure of the 1.3-inch voice coil and the high-strength NdFeB magnetic circuit enable the VLA-1 to reach a usable frequency response range of 1.3-1.6 Hz-1.6 Hz, a sensitivity of 1.2 dB (@ 1.3 Watt 1.3 M), and an amazing SPL peak output of 1.2 dB.
